The National
Virtual Observatory, one of our projects, was featured in an
article on the CNN website. The article showcased the many possibilities and potential
applications of the NVO including for amateurs looking for planets and asteroids.
The article states: "In the latest frontier of astronomy, professionals are
increasingly enlisting the aid of novices with personal computers to help pour
through images and data -- all in pursuit of the next great breakthrough."
